About Arimidexic

Arimidexic (Anastrozole) is a non-steroidal aromatase inhibitor. It reduces the conversion of androgens to estrogens. Tablets also contain common excipients (e.g., lactose, povidone, HPMC, PEG, sodium starch glycolate, magnesium stearate, titanium dioxide). It is not a steroid.

Use in Bodybuilding (Off-label)

Many athletes use anastrozole to limit bloating (edema) and gynecomastia when running aromatizing compounds. Typical informal protocols reported: 0.25–1 mg daily or 0.5–1 mg every other day, adjusted to individual response.

Contraindications & Warnings

  • Hypersensitivity to anastrozole or tablet components.
  • Not intended for pregnancy, breastfeeding, or pediatric use.
  • Using more than needed can depress estrogen excessively (possible joint discomfort, lipid changes).

Possible Side Effects

  • Shortness of breath, dizziness, headache, hot flashes, weakness
  • GI upset: diarrhea, vomiting, dry mouth, abdominal pain
  • Skin rash, sweating
  • Bone/joint pain
  • Less common: weight gain, tiredness, chills/fever, cough, itching; in women: vaginal bleeding, breast pain
